About

About Open Semester

Open Semester publishes complete university courses, free, one lecture at a time. Each course runs like a real semester: weekly lectures and recitations, a course book, problem sheets and full worked solutions.

It is for anyone who wants to learn properly, wherever they are: students following along with their own semester, people returning to a subject years later, and anyone simply curious. Nothing is behind a paywall, and it stays that way. New courses are added over time, each one a full semester from the first lecture to the final exam.

How it is made

Courses are planned and edited by Avia and narrated by a synthetic voice. Every calculation on screen is checked against the written solutions before release. All content is original.
